TLC youth program is an exciting program for high functioning youth with special needs, funded by the Ministry of Children and Families Development. The main program goals are to foster a positive, social environment for youth and exposure to a range of recreation opportunities, while encouraging and reinforcing day to day life-skills. Registration for a program like this, starts with discussing your child’s needs with your Social Worker contact at MCFD – to determine best suitability from their range of funded programs. For maximum fairness, clients are referred (in request order and related to program suitability) from the Ministry.
