This all-levels class is designed to increase strength and flexibility, as well as stamina and resilience. Exercises are specific to target the often forgotten, small muscles and joints that are crucial to maintain support & alignment within the body as well as ensuring sustained mobility as we age. We all want to keep enjoying all the sports and activities we?ve always been used to doing ? so paying attention to posture, core, lower back, hips, knees, shoulders, neck, feet ? is vital. The class can be as challenging as you wish to make it. Step-by-step instruction is offered to set-up the foundation and form for each movement. Modifications are also offered to ensure a safe and rewarding experience for any level of yogi – from beginner to elite athlete. The use of props (blocks, strap, bolster, cushions, etc) is always encouraged to not only enhance poses, but to also provide support and safety. We encourage participants to bring their own mats, blocks, and straps.Drop-in $16, space permitting.
