Artists in the KitchenAt the Kitsilano Community CentreArtists in the Kitchen consist of 8 sessions, in which chefs from the community will offer demonstrations of foods from various cultures (Indigenous, Persian, Asian, Greek, Ukrainian, Hungarian). Up to 15 participants will have an opportunity to taste and enjoy the dishes together. After the meal, artist facilitators will lead the participants in discussions and story sharing. This course involves sharing memories, celebrating cultural significance, and creating new stories together as a community. On some occasions, an art talk will follow the storytelling. The program is led by artist and chefs: Johnny Trinh and Pierre Leichner.
