This Yang Style Tai Chi is short and concise, encompassing the traditional poses as its main movements are closely integrated and flows naturally. The presentation of the “cloud hand “movement is an eye opener proven to enhance and improve health. This Tai Chi Style is a suitable for every age group and is appreciated by Tai Chi lovers around the world.This class is instructed by master Amy Zhu who was a disciple of Grand Master Yang Jun(5th Yang Family Tai Chi Chuan Lineage Holder),national Tai Chi champion and certified Tai Chi instructor. Registration is not required. Drop in $4.00, space permitting.

This kitchen residency encourages interactions between artists and community members in a local kitchen setting. Artists invite community members to collaborate. Even those who don’t identify as artists can take on roles such as:

• Creators
• Producers
• Performers
• Active audiences

This project uses the community kitchen to explore how food—its cultivation, preparation, consumption, and presentation—serves as a form of cultural and creative expression. Our goal is to highlight the community kitchen as a cultural space.

Across all cultures, food can:

• Bring people together
• Spark memories of home or away
• Inspire creativity and joy
• Initiate discussion, whether around a dinner table or in a fragrant herb garden
