Students in Kelly’s Tai Chi Class

Tai Chi is a martial art and moving meditation based on the principle of the interplay of Yin and Yang. It is a gentle form of exercise for the body and the mind, cultivating mindfulness and concentration. Slow and graceful movements improve balance, coordination, and well being. Emphasis on proper alignment and structure promotes Qi flow through the body

Qigong is the ancient Chinese practice of cultivating Qi, or vital energy in the body. Qigong involves regulating the breath, simple movements, postures, sound vibration, visualization, and meditation. It reduces stress, improves health and powers of concentration
