Enjoyable, rewarding discussions on a wide range of topics using recent and historical short stories, essays and other literary materials. Focus on one short selection weekly, chosen from volumes produced by experts at the Great Books Foundation. These books ($35-$45 each) generally provide material for 4-5 months.

Duplicate Bridge

Non-sanctioned games, using bidding boxes with results emailed to you the next day. Partner required, however we may be able help you find somebody. Players can attend Tuesdays and/or Fridays. Drop-in $2 (including tax) must be paid at front desk; full season registration available.

Looking for something fun to do with others afterschool but not sure what? Come hang out at the youth lounge! This FREE program will try something different every week ranging from board games, sports, cooking and by your request. Positive attitude and willingness to try new and unfamiliar activities required. Drop-in's welcome and encouraged! This program is made possible through funding provided by the Government of British Columbia and support from the BC Recreation and Parks Association (BCRPA). Snacks provided.
