Pilates with Ali – All Levels

Pilates is a form of exercise done with concentration and control. It’s a full body workout with no impact on joints. The basis of Pilates is to build CORE strength – the girdle-like cylinder that wraps around the torso to support the back and bring in the waistline. It also improves, alignment, balance, coordination, circulation, flexibility and posture. Please bring your own mat, soft yoga block/pillow or folded towel to kneel on. This class is registration only. Drop-ins will not be allowed.This class is held in the Dance Studio. Check-in will begin 5 minutes prior to start time. Please enter the building through the Dance Studio entrance located around the back of the building (up the stairs by the playground) and check-in with the staff. Please be ready to begin as washroom capacity is limited.NOTE: The nature of the Activity is such that you will interact with other people, continuous physical distance between other people cannot be guaranteed, and, by participating in the Activity, you are at risk of being infected by a pathogen, including but not limited to SARS-COV-2. SARS-COV-2, which causes the disease COVID-19, may exacerbate other health issues and is the cause of an ongoing global pandemic. SARS-COV-2 is highly communicable and dangerous. If you become infected with SARS-COV2, you may transmit it to other people even if you are not exhibiting symptoms of illness.
