Learn to Make Meatballs & Sauces

In this demonstration class professional cook and entertainer Peter Ciuffa of Pasta Boy Peter Inc. provides all the knowledge so you can cook for those you love. Students will learn to make Meatballs in a Mamma Ciuffa style Roman Sauce (a tomato braised meat sauce) as well as the classic Carbonara. Syria – Cooking Class

Middle Eastern food is a favourite in the Lower Mainland. Syrian cuisine mainly uses eggplant, zucchini, onion, garlic, meat (mostly from lamb and poultry), dairy products, bulgur, sesame seeds, rice, and chickpeas. We will be learning how to make Tabbouleh, a delicious salad of the Middle East. Tabbouleh is made of bold finely chopped parsley, and onion, and seasoned with olive oil and lemon juice.
