Come and join the Fun Scrabblers and have a wonderful gaming experience. Learn new words and expand your vocabulary. A gentle and relaxing way to spend your afternoon. Nibble on a snack, sip a hot drink and meet new friends. This program is free but space is limited. Please register.

Duplicate Bridge

January-5 to April-27, 2018 from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm

A partner is required when attending, however, we may be able help you find somebody. These are non-sanctioned games but bidding boxes are used and results are emailed to you the next day. Players can attend Tuesdays and/or Fridays. Drop-in $1.90 per session. There will be no Bridge on Friday March 30th.

Syria – Presentation

Syria has been a cradle of civilization for at least 10,000 years. The modern state of Syria ? adjoining Turkey, Iraq, Jordan, Israel and Lebanon ? began as Ottoman empire was broken up after the first World War. It became independent in 1946. Its capital, Damascus, is one of the world's oldest continuously inhabited cities. Along with friends, local Syrians will tell about their country and their culture. Popular Middle Eastern savouries and snacks will be served.
