Senior’s Strength and Stretch

Achieve maximum efficiency and maintain flexibility, by joining this gentle stretch and strength chair fitness class.Workout includes a warm up to raise the body's temperature and prepare the muscles for the workout, 20 minutes of strength training with light weights and a cool down and stretch to bring the body back to a resting state. This class provides balance, agility, fall protection and resistance training for participants with osteoporosis. Exercises are designed to slow down the onset of osteoporosis and help maintain strength to continue an active and mobile lifestyle. Everyone is welcome to this Yoga inspired deep stretching class. This class is designed for people of all age groups and physical capabilities. Your instructor will lead you through low impact stretches that promote flexibility and delicately build muscle. Tension and stress builds up over the course of our day to day lives.
