| A creative yet disciplined approach to learning ballet. Learn ballet steps, positions, posture, and much more while developing coordination, flexibility, poise, and strength. Parents and guests are invited to watch their little dancers perform on the last day of class. No class Mar. 12 & Apr. 2. Instructor Debbie Lee has a Teachers Diploma Royal Academy of Dance of London England (R.A.D., RT) & Vaganova Techniques. Memberships: Canadian Arts Dance Association (CADA) BC & Ontario Division & Scotiabank Dance Centre Board Director. Debbie is a professional instructor with over 20 years of experience as a school director, choreographer and movement educator will be teaching ballet for pre-schoolers and children here at the Kitsilano Community Centre. She is a highly trained educator who is a very encouraging and supportive teacher.

| Creative instruction that will introduce the inspiring young dancer to the basics of ballet technique. It will
give the student an opportunity to experience a solid foundation of classical ballet dance. The class will
consist of strengthening floor exercises to develop postures, introduction to the ballet barre and learning more vocabulary of ballet through centre floor exercises and combinations. For more information e-mail Debbie at deblee@telus.net No class Mar. 12 & Apr. 2.

| Just like a little adult dance class! Children will experience a more technically structured class with centre exercises, steps and travelling combinations. A choreographed dance, including creative input from the little dancers, will be worked on for presentation on the last day . Children must be at least 6 years old. Children must be able to attend unaccompanied by an adult. |
